Recently, someone I know overdosed leaving behind an ex-wife, three small children, friends and a lot of broken hearts. I'm saddened. And angry. There is a serious drug problem, not only in Cleveland, but all over the country. I may not be able to make a huge difference in stopping this horrendous problem, but I can do what I can.
This image is based on a sign I saw on the highway during my morning commute. It was handwritten and really made me stop for a moment to see that people are warning me everywhere, but I was blind to it.
This print is sized 8.5 x 11 on smooth, bright white, Acid Free, Moab fine art paper. Giclees are high quality prints that go through an 8 color process. They are a higher quality than a standard digital print and look as close to the original image as possible.
The print will also be hand-colored by me, which is the first time I have done that for one of my fine art prints.
$20 of the sale of each print go to two places: 1) A donation will be made to The Partnership for Drug Free Kids. and 2) A donation will be sent this GoFundMe campaign that benefits the family I know personally who was affected by this tragedy. It's the least I can do for them. I only wish I could do more.
Thanks for reading and helping out.
